Nostalgia rings of times had passed,
In my mind so distant of the past,
That reminds of me of the thing as it last,
Time passes by so fast.
I see you in my dream,
Images of you beyond the rim,
As it reminds me of my sin,
Deep and troubled from within.
Here in my chair as I rock,
I see the doors as it locks,
The curtain has fallen from the top,
The end is nigh and it doesn’t seem to stop.
No regrets I said, but my heart is hurt,
Where the reason of it still lurk,
Faraway lands that I worked,
It lingers as my fingers count and I looked.
These old eyes scans the horizon,
Seeing the area as I zoom,
Distance where it loom,
Tired and weary I sat near my broom.
My friend shall I seek for your name,
I spent my time restlessly in vain,
Whatever is left that stain,
Forever will remain, but I shall refrain.
Memories may be far and away,
Times may fade me away,
But a thing may be sure,
I want to see more!
